What to do in the Swamp

Open a Sunken Crypt
The Swamp Key opens them. The Muddy Scrap Piles inside give Scrap Iron.

Mix a poison resistance mead base at a Mead Ketill, then let it ferment in a Fermenter. Poison resistance makes the Swamp far easier.

Hits hard but winds up slowly, so block and parry rather than trading. About one in four carries a bow, and that's usually what kills you — clear the archers first.

Lies still as a fallen tree until you walk past. Arrows are nearly wasted on it: an axe, or fire, is what works. It can't follow you between close trees.
